All staff are fully trained with regard to Child Protection procedures and remain vigilant for any problems of this nature. Should you have any concerns regarding a Child Protection matter please feel confident to approach either myself, Mrs McKay (Designated Teacher for Child Protection), Mr Milliken (Deputy Designated Teacher for Child Protection) or Mrs Hill (Deputy Designated Teacher for Child Protection with specific responsibility for e-safety issues). You can be assured of all professional discretion.

We want you to feel safe
If you feel uncomfortable or unsafe because of something that has happened to you in school please tell someone at home and in school. The someone you tell in school could be your Form Tutor, your Head of Year or your Subject Teacher. At home you could tell a parent or a grandparent if you feel something or someone is making you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
They will help you speak to Mrs McKay (Designated Teacher in Charge of Child Protection) or Mr Milliken (Deputy Designated Teacher in Charge of Child Protection).
We want you to feel safe
Sometimes people feel that they want to tell someone in school when something bad has happened elsewhere. It is alright to do that. There will always be someone in school who will listen to you. That could be your Form Tutor or your Head of Year or another teacher you trust.
They will help you speak to Mrs McKay (Designated Teacher in Charge of Child Protection) or Mr Milliken (Deputy Designated Teacher in Charge of Child Protection).
We want you to feel safe
If you know that one of your friends is unhappy you may want to tell someone at school. This is not telling tales. It is asking for help for someone who may find it difficult to ask for themselves.
They will help you speak to Mrs McKay (Designated Teacher in Charge of Child Protection),Mr Milliken (Deputy Designated Teacher in Charge of Child Protection) or Mrs Hill (E-Safety Co-ordinator and Deputy Designated Teacher in Charge of Child Protection).
