Duke of Edinburgh

 

As one of the largest centres operating under the Education Authority, Ballyclare High School has been offering the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award for over 30 years. Based on the guiding principles of the DofE being non-competitive and achievable by all, we aim to make the Award open to every pupil in school who wishes to participate.

Staff

In school, the DofE Award is co-ordinated by Mrs Colville, who supports pupils in the completion of their Volunteering, Skill and Physical sections using the online eDofE profiles. Mr Milliken, Mr Black and Mr Farquhar have responsibility for Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions respectively. There is also a large group of willing and qualified staff who help with the supervision of expeditions.
