White Ribbon visit

By Ballyclare High School on 1 December, 2022

White Ribbon, returned to Ballyclare today to run a focussed workshop with Year 14 under the heading of Listen, Learn, Lead and is the first time this talk has been hosted by a school. White Ribbon’s aim is to raise awareness and send out the message that male violence against women in all its forms, is unacceptable. After a presentation, pupils were afforded some time to voice their opinions and exchange their views in groups.

Many pupils have acted by signing the White Ribbon Charter, wearing the White Ribbon Pin and making a personal pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.
