This Championship started on Friday evening with the first points won by Year 10 Captain Kelsey Smyth in the hammer and the first medal a bronze by Alannah Kerr in the 80m Hurdles. They were quickly followed by finalists Hannah Smith Mathew Steele and Molly Dougan.

Our first Ulster Champion was Josh Young in the Discus who quickly followed this with a silver in the shot. Katie McCullough became Ulster Champion in the javelin and again followed this up with a bronze in the triple jump. Kathryn Coombes became an Ulster Champion again and set a new record again in the shot. Caleb McCarty took his first Ulster title in the minor shot.

Back to the track and Matthew Steele took bronze in the 400mHurdles after his 4th place finish in the 100mHurdles. Jessica Hunter had an exciting but nerve racking time in the high jump to claim silver. Matthew McCullough and Hannah Petrie both claimed silver in the discus.
