Summer Honours

Summer Honours took place on the 13th June with a variety of cultural and sporting awards presented. The event was a celebration of all that pupils and teams have achieved this term and some 20 trophies were given back to school won on our behalf. The pinnacle of the Assembly is the award of the Lowe Globe for International representation won by Rebecca McConnell and Sophie McDowell. The Best Boy and Girl in Sport trophies were awarded to Jasmine Walker for Hockey and Athletics and Jack Lewis for Rugby and Athletics.

- Senior Athletes of the Year Jack Lewis and Jasmine Walker Emma Hutchinson and Josh Young
- Russell House Captain’s Zara King and Aaron McGuigan
- Ballyclre High School Best Senior Cricketers Rory Dorman and Ben Lowry with new Awards the Trevor Martin and JohnThompson trophies
- Ballyclare High School’s Best Boy and Girl in Sport Jack Lewis and Jasmine Walker
- Ballylcare High School’s Headmaster’s Trophy won by Kathryn Coombs
- Gareth Leckey winner of Year 8 Cricketer Best Bat and Bowl
- Ballyclare High’s Schools Athletic’s Champions at Year 8 and 9 Issy McGrugan Jen Lamont Caleb Crawford and Max Sterret
- Ballyclare High’s Athletics’ Captains with the team trophies won at Nebssa and District level.
- Ballyclare High School awarded Honsours Blazers to Molly Dougan Josh Young Laura Chestnutt and Beth McCrea
- Ballyclare High School Athletics Champions at Year 10 and 11
- Alex Darragh slected for the NCU Cricket Team
