Spring Honours Assembly

Our Spring Honours Assembly was a wonderful celebration of our pupils’ achievements. Thank you to our pupils and staff for all the hard work and dedication.  13 Honours Blazers were awarded for Representative Honours, 6 Special Pockets, 115 Senior Pockets, 90 Inter Pockets and 43 Junior Pockets across all school activities.

Our Guest of Honour was Mr Ricky Lutton, Ulster rugby player, Emerging Ireland rugby player, former pupil, and school rugby coach. Ricky Lutton currently plays and coaches at our successful local rugby club Ballyclare. Not only was he a talented rugby player but an International Irish Schools’ Athlete in the discus and Schools’ Cup winning cricketer. The theme of his speech was to encourage all our pupils to work hard and consistently as he believes that is the route to success. Thank you to him for giving up his time to be with us at such an important event.
