Our Year 13 and 14 SistersIN participants will be showcasing their pupil leadership projects at a celebration event at ICC Belfast on 12th March. The pupils across all participating schools must organise this event and to help them, SistersIN arranged for them to meet the team of staff at ICC who organise events ranging from concerts to conferences and graduations to wrap parties for film productions.
The girls got a tour of the facilities, showing them how they could use the space for their celebration event. They also heard from female leaders within ICC, such as Lisa Black ICC Event Manager, who explained the important role she plays in planning and delivering some of Northern Ireland’s largest events and what a career in this industry looks like.
Belfast International Airport have generously sponsored the Ballyclare High School SistersIN programme for 2023-24, allowing 13 of our future female leaders to partake in leadership workshops and receive mentoring from inspiring female leaders across a range of sectors.
