Sir John Daniel Award news

Congratulations to former pupil Clare Kidston, our current Behavioural Support Assistant who, at her recent graduation ceremony, received not only a First Class Honours BSc Psychology degree from the Open University, but also the Sir John Daniel Prize for outstanding academic achievement.

Clare achieved the highest average rank score (91.2%) of this year’s graduates across all disciplines. She would like to thank Mr Farquhar for teaching her to count, and Mr Lenaghan for teaching her to write – both skills came in very handy!

Clare’s success exemplifies the commitment to lifelong learning expressed in our mission statement: ‘Developing lifelong learners in a caring, creative community’.
