Congratulations to Fern Kirkwood who was awarded a Nuffield bursary to complete a research placement at Ulster University during the summer holidays. Last night she presented her Nuffield Research project at an event in the Long Gallery at Stormont, entitled “Discussing the implementation of nature-based coastal defences in the UK”. As Fern gained the opportunity through school Mrs Young and Mrs Ward were on hand to support.
