P6 Activity Day
By Ballyclare High School on 28 June, 2018
Several hundred pupils and staff from a wide range of local primary schools all arrived at Ballyclare High on Friday 15th June to get a flavour of what learning is like in the post-primary world.
Activities ranged from teambuilding on the rugby pitches and making clay buns in art to solving the clues surrounding a forensic mystery in science. With fourth form pupils to guide the visitors around the facilities, there was a palpable sense of engagement and excitement wherever the primary school children went.
As a pupil visitor from one of the local schools later wrote, “It was a really memorable day.”
