Our annual Mock Results Day took place for Year 12 pupils in Ballyclare High School on Tuesday 30th January 2018.

Pupils now have a better awareness of what to expect when they collect their GCSE results in August. Some described the experience as “scary”, while others thought it was very useful. Mrs Kennedy, Head of Year 12 feels that it was an excellent opportunity to celebrate success within the Year Group and spur others on to achieve their full potential in the real exams. The Principal, Dr Rainey, addressed the Year Group, asking them to reflect on what “success” would feel like for them as individuals and to take steps in the remaining weeks of Year 12 to ensure they achieve their goals. Mrs Kennedy encouraged pupils to embrace the Year Group’s motto of demonstrating a “Spirit of Excellence” in the final stages of their GCSE courses.
