 Match Reports V Regent House

The 2BXI beat Regent House 3-1 on Saturday, after a midweek 0-0 draw against Ballymena Academy. The 3rdXI also drew with Ballymena midweek, recording a score of 1-1, but were denied several opportunities against Regent on Saturday to end up with a scoreless draw. Player of the match Olivia McCartney, along with Katie King, made some good driving runs; however, despite some attacking short corners, no goals were forthcoming.

The 14A team found themselves in a tight game against a strong Regent House side. The final score of 0-0 was a testament to the Regent goalie who kept the Ballyclare forwards at bay. Bradie Hogg was player of the match for her strong work in defence.

Player of the match Olivia Jenkins scored three second half goals for the U14B team to make sure that Ballyclare came away the victors in their match. Despite the defence having to skilfully soak up some Regent House pressure, these were only goals in the game. A super 3-0 win!

Katie-Anna Weatherup was first to score in the U13A match and the Ballyclare defence worked hard to ensure a clean sheet at half time. Great passing in the second half produced a second goal for player of the match Katie-Anna Weatherup, with Katie Ireland scoring a third and final goal for Ballyclare.

The U13B team also recorded an impressive 3-0 win against Regent House. Mollie McDowell scored the third goal in the second half, with player of the match Anna Wylie scoring two first half goals.

Mollie McDowell’s first half goal for the U13C team gave them the encouragement they needed to go back out in the second half and increase the score line with a second goal from Katie Butler. A great performance from player of the match Rylee Boyd helped to seal the win.
