Match Report: Saturday 20th Oct v BRA

The 1st XI recorded a 2-0 league win over BRA, player of the match Hannah Petrie working hard at the back to help ensure a clean sheet. Rebecca McCullough scored in the first half with Megan Cochrane scoring after the break.
An excellent work rate from the 2AXI was not rewarded with any goals for Ballyclare and, despite long periods of pressure in the BRA circle, they broke with just a few minutes to go and scored. Anna O’Hara was player of the match.
The 2BXI found themselves 1-0 down before Ellen McIlvenny equalised. Olivia McCartney scored again to make it 2-1 at half time. Elliana Green made it 3-1 in the second half before BRA pulled one back. Final score 3-2 with Rhianna Logan player of the match.
Abbie Gilliland was player of the match in the 3rdXI’s 2-0 win, scoring the first goal after just five minutes. Rachel Neill scored again for Ballyclare before half time to wrap up the game.

It was a tight 0-0 game for the U14As. Both teams pressed for goals and defended well. Grace Marks made important saves for Ballyclare and Christina Jenkins was player of the match.
The U14Bs won 1-0, the winning goal coming from Eve Surgeoner in the first half. Despite further pressure from both teams, the score remained unchanged. Cara Ferguson was player of the match.

Ballyclare U13As won 4-0. Player of the match Rachel McCann’s interception set up Katie-Anna Weatherup for the first. Rachel Cox and Tilly Stewart scored two more before half time, with Rachel scoring the fourth after the break.
Player of the match Mollie McDowell scored a hat trick as the U13Bs won 3-0. The defence remained strong, goalkeeper Abi McKeen making a superb second half save.
