International Women’s Day 2024

Mayor Mark Cooper welcomed Year 11 pupils to Mossley Mill to celebrate International Women’s Day.

It was a day filled with engaging talks from inspirational women such as Northern Ireland Ladies Captain Marissa Callaghan, and Political Correspondent Jayne McCormack who hosted a panel discussion with the Women’s Sub-Committee

The girls were inspired by the politicians’ accounts of their leadership experiences, influences and strong sense of accountability.
