History Trip to World War 1 Battlefields

From 19th – 22nd March Josiah Stewart and Rhianna Hood went with Mrs Carlisle to the WW1 battlefields at Ypres, Belgium and The Somme, France. They spent time visiting various War Grave Commission Cemeteries and other important sites. Some of the most memorable included the memorial service at the Menin Gate, Ypres, the Loughnagar Crater, The Ulster Tower, Thiepval memorial and the Thiepval wood.
