Geography fieldtrip to Italy an explosive success!

A group of 25 A level pupils headed to Italy on 26th-29th October accompanied by Mr Whincup, Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Ellison. The pupils enjoyed a trek to the crater of Mt Vesuvius and explored the town of Pompeii destroyed by the eruption in AD79. They also enjoyed a drive along the Amalfi coast, stopping at Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi for lunch. The trip finished with a trip to a working farm and a visit to the city of Naples. The weather was beautiful and the pupils were fantastic ambassadors for our school.
