Celebration of Rugby at Ballyclare High Gala Ball

We are pleased to announce a gala ball to celebrate the history of rugby at Ballyclare High and to mark the 50th anniversary of the landmark Schools’ Cup victory of 1973.
The gala ball, taking place in Titanic Belfast on Saturday 4 March 2023, will provide an opportunity to bring together players and supporters, current and former, including parents, friends and former classmates.
Guests will hear from local legend Willie John McBride and a panel of past pupils including former Irish International Gary Longwell, High Performance Referee Chris Busby, former Ulster prop Richard Lutton and Schools’ Cup Winner Frank Gault.
The event will also include dinner, drinks reception, dancing and entertainment from The Fabulous Al Bennett Band.
All proceeds will support the Ballyclare High School Foundation’s Bright Futures Campaign that serves to enhance every pupil’s experience at the school (more information available here).
Past pupils and friends from all year groups are warmly encouraged to attend and use the event as a reunion or get together.
The dress code for the evening is Black Tie.
