Ballyclare High School are delighted to announce that we have been successful in achieving Gold Status for CyberFirst Schools.

This award highlights how important we perceive cyber security education as a school and validates our delivery of excellence in cyber security education.

As a CyberFirst school, we are recognised by the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre), and we will continue to develop our pupils in the future to explore their passion for technology by promoting cyber security and awareness at Ballyclare High School. It will also give our pupils the opportunity to engage with experts in industry and local universities as well as giving us the chance to take part in the increasing and varied CyberFirst opportunities available to our school.

Mrs N Ward, Head of IT and Computer Science was presented with the award on Thursday 25th May 2023 at the CyberFirst conference – Empowering Cyber Education for teachers.

We are one of four schools in Northern Ireland to have achieved the Gold award.
