The Queen’s New Year Honours 2021

Congratulations to current Board of Governor member Alistair McGowan who has been awarded the MBE (Members of the Order of the British Empire) for his services to sport and reconciliation.

Alistair is involved with the Newforge Community Development Trust, is CEO of the Newforge Sports Complex and spent two years working towards the completion of the successful World Police & Fire Games held here in Northern Ireland for the first time in 2013.
