Dear Parent/Carer

 

RE: Common Entrance Assessments by the Association for Quality Education

 

The Board of Governors of Ballyclare High School plans to use the AQE Common Entrance Assessment next year again as part of the admissions criteria for entry to Ballyclare High School for the academic year beginning September 2020.

 

Registration for the tests will open on 1st May 2019 and close on 6^th September 2019 with forms available from the AQE website (ww.aqe.org.uk) and Ballyclare High School from 30^th April.

 

We will accommodate 300 pupils to sit the tests at Ballyclare High School on 9^th November, 23^rd November and 30^th November 2019. There will also be an optional practice test on 19^th October 2019. Places at this centre will be allocated by AQE on a first come first served basis.

 

The School will also hold an information event for P6 parents/carers on Thursday 30^th May 2019 from

7.00 – 7.45pm. There will be a short power-point presentation and senior staff will be on hand to answer any specific questions you may have. I look forward to the opportunity of seeing you at that meeting so if it is your intention to attend please return the reply slip below to the School Office on or before that evening.
