Ethos of School Fund / Gift Aid

While the funding from the Education Authority meets basic educational requirements, Ballyclare High School relies on its School Fund to provide a wide range of opportunities that enhance the educational experience for all pupils. Annual donations from parents/carers are crucial for supporting initiatives beyond the statutory curriculum, including new computer equipment, modern ICT resources, library investments, mental health services, musical resources, sports coaching, and much more.

The School Fund is kept affordable, offering an inclusive approach compared to many other schools in the area. Contributions can be made via iPay, and UK taxpayers can increase their donations through Gift Aid. The school deeply appreciates the continued support of its community, which allows it to offer a comprehensive and enriching experience for all pupils, despite the challenges of managing a budget in times of inflation.
