Annual Student Leadership Conference

Ballyclare High School’ s Head Boy, Rhys Stewart and Head Girl, Erin Cochrane participated in the 11th Annual Student Leadership Conference at Slemish College in Ballymena on Friday 15th November. Also in attendance were their Deputies: Neeve Irvine, Katie Bonar, Rebecca Smyth, Isaac Shiels, Jesse Mc Maw and Adam Young
The delegates heard a range of talks by Jim Loughins Principal of Whitehead PS) on Managing Your Team.
The Qualities of a Good Leader by Michael Bennett (Principal of Slemish College) and The Challenge of Leadership Alex Wimberley (Director of Corrymeela) .
The Head Boy, Head Girl and Adam Young all presented to the conference on behalf of their combined school groups on the takeaways of the day.
